1. How Does Symphony Laser Treatment for Advanced Skin Care Work?
The Symphony System utilizes three separate modalities which can dramatically improve all of the following:
- the appearance of rosacea, redness, age spots and sun-damaged skin
- fine lines around the eyes and nose, as well as deeper creases in the forehead
- sagging or loose skin particularly around the jaw or neck
Symphony’s ELOS System can improve all of the above – without surgery – and restore the look of youthful skin by utilizing these independent treatment modalities to target the specific skincare issue you may have. This system utilizes a unique combination of bi-polar radio frequency and light to renew and stimulate the skin. Using gentle pulses of two targeted energies, we can achieve outstanding results with the highest level of patient safety and comfort. With ELOS technology, the art of beautiful skin is virtually pain free, requires little to no downtime, produces fast results, and actually continues to improve the appearance of your skin long after your treatment is finished.
Symphony’s Laser Technology combines the use of bi-polar radio frequency and light energies that precisely heat the dermal tissue in the targeted area of treatment. This focused, deep heating produces a firming effect in your lax skin, fine lines, or deeper wrinkles. There is a noticeable lifting of the skin and the texture of your skin becomes smoother, illuminated, and more toned. This improvement becomes even more noticeable with the passage of time, as your body’s natural collagen remodeling process continues to build upon the Symphony Treatments.

A free and informative consultation is an important first step in determining your treatment candidacy and which one (or more) of our advanced skin care laser treatments, is the most appropriate solution.
3. How Does Symphony Advanced Skin Care Laser Compare to Botox and Dermal Fillers?
Symphony –The Medi Spa now prefers to use laser technology as a means to promote wrinkle reduction and skin rejuvenation versus Botox and other injectable treatments. The primary reason is that we believe our ELOS technology provides for a safer and more predictable outcome. The primary effect of Symphony’s Laser Treatments is to induce the body’s natural production of collagen, which continues for many months after the treatment has been performed.
Botox and Dermal Fillers are among the most commonly performed cosmetic procedures performed in the United States. Botox (Botulinum toxin-A) is a diluted solution which is injected into the desired area of improvement. Botox prevents contraction of muscles by blocking nerve impulses. This temporary muscle “paralysis” leaves the muscles unable to contract and so the wrinkles relax resulting in a softened appearance. However, side effects can include paralysis of the wrong muscle group and allergic reaction. Bruising at the site of injection, as a result of improper administration, is also a potential side effect. For the treatment of facial wrinkles, this can result in inappropriate facial expressions such as drooping eyelids, double vision, uneven smile, or loss of the ability to close one’s eyes.
Dermal fillers are another injectible form of wrinkle reduction. Although there are many different types, they all primarily work by plumping up the treatment area and come in many forms, including natural collagen, bovine (ox or cow), or synthetic (man-made). Dermal fillers results last typically for a few months before requiring re-treatment. Dermal fillers pose risks as well, such as allergic reactions, infections, pain, and scar formation.
As the safest and most natural means of anti-aging treatments, Symphony uses the Laser and ELOS Technology as the preferred method for skin rejuvenation and wrinkle reduction.
4. How Many Laser Treatments Will I Need and How Often to Remove a Wrinkle?
Results from Symphony’s Advanced Skin Care Laser Treatments can be seen almost immediately. The specific type of treatment and ideal treatment protocol can only be determined during the consultation process. However, for most patients who desire a long-term, positive effect from their Symphony treatments; the typical candidate will receive a 20 – 30 minute procedure once every two to four weeks, for a total of five (5) treatments. Some patients who require or desire a combination of skin rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, and skin tightening treatments will be put on the Triniti program. This highly advanced anti-aging program consists of only three (3) treatments every two to four weeks to achieve long-term and complete age-reducing results.
5. What is the Cost for Treatments?
Individuals should be very careful with “price shopping” when it comes to the numerous anti-aging options that are available. Since patient needs are so highly individualized, an accurate fee can only be truly established through a free, private consultation. During that time, your Symphony Representative will assess your skin care needs and determine the extent of treatment necessary.
6. Are Treatments Painful?
Symphony Laser Treatments for advanced skin care are extremely well tolerated by patients. A very mild sensation can be felt during the treatments; however this non-invasive procedure results in absolutely no downtime. As an additional feature of the ELOS treatments, a contact cooling device on the skin enhances overall comfort.
7. Are There Any Temporary or Long-Term Negative Side Effects to Wrinkle or Age Spot Removal Treatments?
It is typical to see some mild and temporary light redness in the treated area immediately after treatment. However, this light erythema usually dissipates within a few minutes to a few hours after treatment. Being a non-invasive and non-ablative procedure, people return to work or normal activities immediately after treatment. The sensation during the laser pulsing only lasts for a fraction of a second and warmth and/or a tingling sensation is experienced for a short time afterward. If your treatment is for skin discoloration such as rosacea, the improvement can often be appreciated before the next treatment a month later. If your treatments are for sun damage or brown age spots, these temporarily go darker before they lighten. If your treatment is primarily for wrinkles and fine lines, you will notice an immediate plumping of the skin and a softening of the skin. There are no long-term negative effects of these treatments when done in the hands of a certified laser practitioner.
8. What Improvement Will I See With Your Wrinkle Reduction and Age Spot Removal Treatments and How Long Will it Last?
Symphony –The Medi Spa treatments for advanced skin care target three independent skin afflictions. For the treatment of discoloration from rosacea, age spots or sun-damaged skin; one can expect to see a visible improvement within a few days to a week after your initial treatment. This will continue right up to your next treatment four weeks later. Age spots or sun-damaged skin may temporarily go darker before they lighten. If your treatment is primarily for wrinkles and fine lines, you will notice an immediate plumping of the skin and a softening of the skin. Initial mild redness immediately after your treatment will typically subside within a few hours.
A treatment program of three to five sessions produces what is called “collagen remodeling.” What this means, is that your Symphony Laser Treatments are stimulating the natural production of collagen in the dermal layer of your skin. As a result, your body continues to produce new collagen for several months after your last treatment. Visible results are not permanent and are variable based on individual conditions, but long-term, ongoing, and dramatic improvement for many months can be expected.
