1. How Will a Body Treatment Help My Skin?
Body treatments are meant to improve the health of skin that is not on the face. Body treatments are similar to facial treatments, except they are used over a wider area. The goals of both types of treatments- exfoliation and moisturizing- are similar. A body treatment will calm the skin and allow for new cell growth. Body treatments improve back, shoulder, and chest acne.
Both male and female technicians are available to perform our services on request. Keep in mind, however, that both have licences that required extensive practice with both men and women. Our therapists are professionals that treat clients with the the utmost respect, care, and level of service.
2. How Can Body Treatments Help Acne?
The Back Facial Body Treatment is especially helpful in reducing acne of the shoulders and back. That area is tough to reach for cleaning and does not get as much cleaning and attention as the face. Dead skin and oil buildup clog pores and lead to breakouts. The Back Facial deeply cleanses and exfoliates this area, removing dirt, oil, and dead skin. A light chemical peel or chemical exfoliator is included to make sure that the pores stay open.
3. What Should I Expect During a Body Treatment?
The body treatment will begin with the technician taking a close look at your skin though a magnified mirror. After determining problem areas, they will choose products to be used in the service. The back facial, body scrub, and detox wrap each have their own steps.
4. How Should I Tip For a Body Treatment?
Tipping for a body treatment follows the 15% service tipping standard, though more or less can be given based on quality of service. It is preferred that Tips are paid in cash.
5. How Early Should I Book a Body Treatment?
Body treatments should be booked at least one day before the service is to take place.
6. In What Conditions Should I Not Have a Body Treatment?
Body treatments should not be performed on injured or badly sun-burnt skin or skin with a rash or that is already irritated.
7. Will My Clothes Be Removed For My Body Treatment?
Our technicians use industry standard draping procedures for all clients. Only the body parts being worked on will be uncovered during the service. The rest of the body will be covered by a sheet, and other modesty requests will be honored.
